Comment; To the consternation of many Burns fans, these stamps will not be issued as normal postage stamps - only as the two first class stamps in a miniature sheet which will cost £2.66 over a post office counter (and if you can find a post office with stocks !). The other stamps in the sheet are the nomal Scottish definitive stamps, the top two values of which are those normally used on foreign mail. So the stamp values many people will want to send to their friends abroad are not going to be Burns stamps !
1959 all over again ......... (bigger article to follow on that)
